The human voice as an art object/subject, presented live in all its breadth and diversity, is at the centre of the international festival for vocal performance art, sound & music DESIGNING VOICES.
The artistic voices expand through the use of live electronics or enter into dialogue with objects or instruments.
The festival is taking place as a biennial for the third time in Potsdam.
Under this year’s motto KLANGSINNE, the festival illuminates the sensual aspects of vocal sounds and at the same time explores the meaning of sound in play with and without language.
