This is an event celebrating the founding of Hexis, a performance company based on the values of friendship and solidarity. We translate depressing politics into a delirious language of magical realism. We present ‘Mudlarking in Armageddon’, a performance lecture in which we do our best to introduce the Hexis methodology in a calm and composed manner.
But in a world where fridges sneeze, how likely is it that everything will go to plan? Mudlarks scour the muddy banks of the Thames at low tide in search of treasures. We take a similar approach to art-making. Long live the rubbish tip of our modern-day shit show! We look forward to welcoming you!
