Felix Fechenbach began fighting for social justice at the age of 17. Alongside Kurt Eisner, he triggered the revolution in Bavaria in 1918. During the Weimar Republic, Fechenbach became a renowned journalist, but also worked as a puppeteer and author. His fearless behaviour during the election campaign against Hitler in the small state of Lippe made him one of the Nazis’ main enemies.
With its wild mix of puppetry and theatre, the production whirls through the eventful life story of Felix Fechenbach and catapults him into our present day. After all, don’t we still need courageous fighters for democracy like him today?
