Bobs & Bangs imaYia – hunting witches

Our heroine crosses the threshold from childhood to adulthood by stepping through a magical portal. Imaγia is the name of the journey to the time of witchcraft – and the return to the present, with all the scars it has left on our bodies. Imaγia is also the name of our heroine, who carries the strength, pain and tenderness of humanity within her. Imaγia – Hunting Witches is an interdisciplinary, non-verbal visual theatre piece with elements of puppetry, contemporary dance and Balkan folklore music. The ensemble brings themes and practices of femininity, ritual and collective memory to the stage.
