On a sleepless night, a traveller crosses the Mediterranean, the densest sea in history and in stories. He returns from Sicily to the mainland, and in this dark hour, as he sails through the waters that were once called Mare Nostrum, he is repeatedly haunted by images of the Great Hunt, a Roman mosaic that he found during his visit to the great island.

The event will include a performance of the play La Gran Cacería(The Great Hunt), interpreted by Juan Mayorga himself. Afterwards, the author will have a conversation with Stephanie Gerhold, the translator of his work, in which they will discuss both the play and various aspects of his career.
