Theater Schichtwechsel LOOKING FOR A ROOM, EVEN WITHOUT REGISTRATION

A story about poverty, homelessness and classism, not just in Berlin.

Poverty lives in the hallway of a Berlin flat-share and cannot sleep. It is not only his existential fears that keep him awake, but also one of his flatmates, who thoughtlessly plays his terrible DJ sets, as well as the noise of the city and his own thoughts. In his sleeplessness, he reflects on his life, whilst academics and the general public weigh in with phrases such as ‘Poverty is the worst form of violence’ or ‘Anyone can make it in Germany’. An evening about how we talk past one another in our society.
