Ma. 間 Ma /ma/

Ma (間, [ma], noun) is a fundamental Japanese concept denoting the pause and empty space between things, where life breathes and beauty is born. It teaches us that silence, rest and stillness are not absence, but presence in its purest form. The three contemporary dance works of this evening by artists and choreographers from Japan, Italy, Spain and the US explore this notion through movement and invite the audience to dwell within it. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the world premiere of this programme.
