Homesick for a better world? Meet your trash prophets, Madonna & Jesus. In a participatory performance ritual at the Galiläkirche, ominous acts of devotion, blessings for queer bodies and rites of liberation unfold, navigating the realms of faith, resistance and belonging. Even before the piece could celebrate its premiere, it sparked an art scandal in Bavaria and accusations of blasphemy. Following its tour of the Edinburgh Fringe, *my home is not my home* now returns to Berlin in a new site-specific version.
