The Butoh dancer Aya Irizuki, known for her role in Doris Dörrie’s film *Cherry Blossoms – Hanami* (2008), returns to Munich after almost ten years with her latest choreography. This marks her sixth guest performance at the Pasinger Fabrik. The new solo is entitled Oberonia. The Oberonia genus comprises hundreds of orchid species found throughout the tropics. The dance piece is an invitation into a garden full of mysterious creatures and phenomena; Aya Irizuki uses her body to explore these organic machines and their processes of transformation.
