A physical theatre performance inspired by the extraordinary life cycle of Dictyostelium discoideum: a tiny organism that shifts between individuality and collectivity. “What if we” explores the fragile space between the self and the community.
What makes a “we” possible?
Who takes the first step when change becomes necessary?
How do we gather, resist, separate and belong?
Through movement, transformation and an ever-changing physical landscape, the performance explores the tension between cooperation and deviation, obedience and refusal, care and responsibility.
Bodies come together and dissolve again, in search of new forms of coexistence in which identity is not fixed but constantly renegotiated.
“What if we” is a poetic journey through vulnerability, instinct and political decision-making: an invitation to imagine other ways of being together.
A performance about transformation as a fundamental rule of life and about the radical possibility of becoming a community of bodies
