A travelling theatre troupe from the Tarántula theatre collective
A circus comes to town and stays longer than anyone could have expected. The acts return night after night: comical, tragic, dazzling and slightly out of the ordinary. A mouse sings, a monkey learns, and the audience waits for something extraordinary. And slowly, almost unnoticed, everyone becomes part of the performance themselves.
Inspired by stories by Franz Kafka, ‘Circus Kafka’ is a playful yet melancholic journey through transformation, repetition and the unsettling ease with which we accept the absurd as part of everyday life.
