SOLE TRILOGY

Part 1 “Stepping Stones” | Amelia Emma Forrest

A butterfly cuts deep | Their wings slapping you with judgement | Eat yourself to death, gluttonous piece of shit | The cocoon shows no mercy | You will feel butterfly’s wrath | The wrath of a lifetime of weight | But stop | Come close | Look inside me | Feel inside me | I know this flap, this slap | So I will show you mercy | But will it ever be enough? | -Stepping Stones

“Stepping Stones” was choreographed by Amelia Emma Forrest and is the first part of the Sole Trilogy, a journey into a world where three different creatures, all so very different can co-exist. “Stepping Stones” was developed with the support of ufaFabrik, Berlin.
